The media group All Media Baltics (AM Baltics) begins to implement an investment programme worth more than 10 million euro with the creation of a single digital platform in the Baltics. The new digital platform will be the first digital solution of its kind in the Baltics, which will provide everyone interested with access to the entertainment and news content in the preferable format, in the preferable device and at the preferable time.
The new digital platform will aggregate the entire content owned by AM Baltics companies and ensure accessibility through different devices using also platform applications.
Pierre Danon, Executive Chairman of All Media Baltics, says: “By developing a new digital platform, we have started a new stage of AM Baltics development. We are gratified that we can entrust the management of this platform development to domestic professionals. Their achievements until now shows clear ability to find smart solutions to meet highly demanding requirements of the nowadays media user,” and adds: “Just two months ago, right after the acquisition process of MTG Baltic business was completed we announced our investment plans. I am truly pleased that within such a short period we have been able to begin the development the new digital platform – a unique project which will significantly benefit the entire Baltic media and advertising market.”
Sniedzīte Vilmane – the current Head of All Media Latvia digital division will be leading the development of the new AM Baltics digital platform. She is also joining the AM Baltics Executive Committee led by Mr. Pierre Danon. Sniedzīte Vilmane has been working at AM Latvia (formerly MTG) since 2014 and has contributed greatly in growing AM Latvia digital footprint. before AM Latvia she has accumulated valuable experience in working with various digital and IT projects at such leading companies in the sector as LMT, Tele2, and Samsung.
The development and implementation of the new platform is planned to be carried out within the first part of 2018.
